The National Football League’s Award Winners for the 2020 – 2021 NFL Season
By admin | | 0 Comments |

At the end of every season in the National Football League the NFL takes time to honor, celebrate, and award the best players in each of the various categories at their annual award show. The National Football League has just released the list of winners and honored all seven of the award winners for the past 2020 – 2021 NFL season through a virtual award ceremony. Congratulations to all of the award winners, and it was truly great to watch them perform at such a high level over the last year. The Most Valuable Player Award  The NFL’s 2020 – 2021 most valuable player award went to Aaron Rodgers the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. He became only the 6th player to be awarded the NFL’s MVP at least 3 times, and this year it wasn’t even a close race to the NFL’s MVP. Rodgers received 44 of the 50 available votes from the panel of nationwide media voters. The quarterback of the Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen, got 4 votes, and the quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, received 2 votes. Rodgers previously won the NFL’s MVP for the 2011 – 2012 NFL season and for the 2014 – 2015 NFL season. Now with three NFL MVP awards Aaron is in the company of Brett Favre, Jim Brown, Tom Brady, and Johnny Unitas who have also won three NFL MVP awards. All five of the previously mentioned outstanding players with 3 NFL MVP awards are behind only Peyton Manning who has won the coveted award an unbelievable five times. Manning will be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame this August as he is one of the eight individuals in the 2021 class of the Pro Football Hall of Famers. Rodgers helped lead the Packers to a regular season record of 13 and 3 this past season as well as the NFC championship game in which the Green Bay Packers lost to the Super Bowl LV champions in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Aaron is now only the third player in the history of the NFL to lead the league in passing touchdowns with his 48 while having thrown the least amount of interceptions with his 5 during a single season. In 2010 Tom Brady accomplished this, and in 1958 Johnny Unitas achieved that rare mark too. Rodgers also set his NFL career high in total quarterback rating with the number of 84.4 which happens to be the third highest total QBR since this statistic has become a universal measuring tool for quarterbacks in the National Football League approximately 15 years ago. Rodgers’ Career Achievements, Awards, and Honors Super Bowl champion (XLV) Super Bowl MVP (XLV) 3 time NFL Most Valuable Player (2011, 2014, 2020) 3 time NFL First – Team All – Pro (2011, 2014, 2020) NFL Second – Team All – Pro (2012) 9 time NFL Pro Bowl selection (2009, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020) 3 time NFL passer rating leader (2011, 2012, 2020) 2 time NFL passing touchdowns leader (2016, 2020) NFL completion percentage leader (2020) NFL 2010’s All – Decade Team Associated Press Athlete of the Year (2011) Bert Bell Award (2011) The Offensive Player of the Year Award The recipient of this year’s offensive player of the year award is the running back of the Tennessee Titans, Derrick Henry, who received 32 of the 50 votes available. The runner ups for this honor were Rodgers and Mahomes who both earned 5 votes. Henry rushed for 2,027 yards throughout the 2020 – 2021 NFL season which was the 5th highest mark of all time in the National Football League for single season rushing yards. Over the last year he also ran in 17 touchdowns now making Henry only the 6th player in NFL history to lead the league in rushing yards as well as touchdowns in back to back consecutive football seasons. Since 2010 Derrick is only the 4thrunning back to win the offensive player of the year award, and he is the first to do so since 2017 when Todd Gurley won the offensive player of the year award. Derrick Henry’s Career Achievements, Awards, and Honors NFL Offensive Player of the Year (2020) NFL First – Team All – Pro (2020) NFL Second – Team All – Pro (2019) 2 time NFL Pro Bowl selection (2019, 2020) 2 time NFL rushing yards leader (2019, 2020) 2 time NFL rushing touchdowns leader (2019, 2020) 2,000 – yard club (2020) CFP national champion (2015) Heisman Trophy (2015) Maxwell Award (2015) Doak Walker Award (2015) Walter Camp Award (2015) Unanimous All – American (2015) 2 time SEC Champion (2014, 2015) First – Team All – SEC (2015) SEC Offensive Player of the Year (2015) All – Time High School Football Rushing Leader Yulee Hornets Number 2 retired USA Today High School All – American (2012) Florida’s Mr. Football (2012) The Defensive Player of the Year Award The defensive player of the year award for the 2020 – 2021 NFL season went to Aaron Donald who is a defensive tackle for the Los Angeles Rams. Donald pulled in 27 of the 50 votes just edging out second place finisher in this race being T. J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers who received 20 total votes for the DPOY award. Aaron has now won the defensive player of the year award 3 out of the last 4 years as he also won this honor for the 2017 – 2018 NFL season as well as the 2018 – 2019 NFL season. Since 1971 when this award was first presented only J. J. Watt of the Houston Texans and Lawrence Taylor of the New York Giants have won this award on 3 occasions. Donald led the NFL in quarterback pressures this season with 54 of them. He was able to also lead the NFL in pass rush win rate for an interior defensive lineman with a rate of 24.2 % even though Aaron was double teamed on 65.7 % of his total pass rushes over the last year which is the third highest rate of being double teamed in the NFL last season. This is the 3rd consecutive season where the ever impressive and dominant Donald led the NFL in pass rush win rate as an interior defensive lineman. Donald’s Career Achievements, Awards, and Honors 3 time NFL Defensive Player of the Year (2017, 2018, 2020) NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year (2014) 6 time NFL First – Team All – Pro (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) 7 time NFL Pro Bowl selection (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) NFL sacks leader (2018) NFL 2010’s All – Decade Team Sporting News 2010’s All – Decade Team PFWA All – Rookie Team (2014) ACC Defensive Player of the Year (2013) Bronko Nagurski Trophy (2013) Chuck Bednarik Award (2013) Lombardi Award (2013) Outland Trophy (2013) Unanimous All – American (2013) The Offensive Rookie of the Year Award The quarterback of the Los Angeles Chargers, Justin Herbert, ran away with the offensive rookie of the year award as he received 41 of the 50 available votes. The wide receiver of the Minnesota Vikings took in the second most votes for this honor with 9 votes. The Los Angeles Chargers selected Herbert with the 6th overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. He was quickly thrown in to the league when he was forced to start the second game of the 2020 – 2021 NFL season for the Los Angeles Chargers when their starting quarterback, Tyrod Taylor, was injured by his medical staff receiving an injection. Justin had an absolutely amazing rookie year in the NFL as he threw for an unbelievable 4,336 yard as well as 31 touchdown passes in just 15 regular season games last year. His 31 touchdown throws are good for a single season record for rookies in the National Football League. Herbert definitely has a bright future in the NFL, and hopefully he will only continue to grow and develop in to one of the elite quarterbacks in professional football over the next decade or so. Herbert’s Career Achievements, Awards, and Honors NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year (2020) PFWA Rookie of the Year (2020) PFWA Offensive Rookie of the Year (2020) PFWA All – Rookie Team (2020) Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year (2020) 2020 Rose Bowl MVP 2020 Senior Bowl MVP William V. The Carolina Panthers safety Jeremy Chinn was second in voting for the defensive rookie of the year award with just 4.5 votes. Young was the 2nd overall selection in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft, and he was taken by the Washington Football Team for obvious reason, the man is a beast. Over the course of his rookie campaign Young recorded 7.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries. This has only been done as a rookie by the great defensive player, Terrell Suggs, over the past 20 football seasons. As long as Young can remain healthy he should be quite a handful for the opposing offenses in the National Football League for many years to come. Young’s Career Achievements, Awards, and Honors Defensive Rookie of the Year (2020) Pro Bowl (2020) PFWA All – Rookie Team (2020) Big Ten Male Athlete of the Year (2020) Bronko Nagurski Trophy (2019) Chuck Bednarik Award (2019) Ted Hendricks Award (2019) Chicago Tribune Silver Football (2019) Nagurski – Woodson Defensive Player of the Year (2019) Smith – Brown Defensive Lineman of the Year (2019) Unanimous All – American (2019) Big Ten 2010’s All – Decade Team First – Team All – Big Ten (2019) Second – Team All – Big Ten (2018) The Coach of the Year Award The coach of the year award this year went to the Cleveland Browns head coach, Kevin Stefanski, for helping pull the Cleveland Browns out of the bottom of the barrel in the National Football League. Stefanski received 25 of the 50 votes while the Buffalo Bills head coach, Sean McDermott, was second with 7 votes, and the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, Brian Flores, was third place with 6 votes for the coach of the year award. Stefanski led the Cleveland Browns to their first winning season since 2007, and the Cleveland Browns first NFL postseason appearance since 2002. This year the Cleveland Browns won their first playoff game since 1994. Enough said on why Stefanski deserved this great honor. Stefanski’s Career Achievements, Awards, and Honors AP NFL Coach of the Year (2020) First Team All – Ivy League (2002) PFWA Coach of the Year (2020) Sporting News Coach of the Year (2020) The Comeback Player of the Year Award The quarterback of the Washington Football Team, Alex Smith, won the comeback player of the year award by receiving 49 of the 50 votes. The Pittsburgh Steelers veteran quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, did get the other available vote for this category. Smith suffered a devastating broken tibia and fibula a while back during a football game, and this injury resulted in 17 surgeries due to nasty infections that nearly caused him to have to amputate his right leg. Miraculously Smith was able to overcome those incredible obstacles to return to NFL game action and start as the quarterback for the Washington Football Team. What an amazing story this was, and it is easy to understand why Alex was honored with the comeback player of the year award for the 2020 – 2021 NFL season. Smith’s Career Achievements, Awards, and Honors NFL Comeback Player of the Year (2020) 3 time NFL Pro Bowl selection (2013, 2016, 2017) NFL passer rating leader (2017) First – Team All – American (2004) MWC Offensive Player of the Year (2004)

Kambi Group founder offloads large portion of his shareholding
By admin | | 0 Comments |

The value of individual shares in Maltese online wagering technologies innovator Kambi Group dropped by almost 4.16% earlier today to approximately $54.93 following news that the firm’s founder had offloaded a significant slice of his shareholding. The Valletta-headquartered firm used an official Thursday press release to declare that the move from Anders Strom (pictured) saw 2.2% of its shareholding offloaded ‘to Swedish and international institutional investors’ courtesy of ‘an accelerated book-building process’. The Nasdaq Stockholm-listed company moreover revealed that these 675,000 stocks had come with an individual price tag of about $55.56 to earn the iGaming pioneer gross proceeds of slightly over $37.53 million. Enduring effect: Kambi Group explained that 50-year-old Strom, who announced late last year that he would not be seeking re-election as its non-executive chairman, had conducted the sale through his Veralda Investment Limited vehicle and now holds roughly 17.5% of its shares. It also proclaimed that this residual shareholding is to become the subject of ‘a customary lock-up’ that is to last for 90 days from the settlement date. Read a statement from Strom… “I am very pleased to see the overwhelming interest from both current and new shareholders wanting to invest in the growth of Kambi Group. The company has developed into a leading premium sportsbetting technology company with significant opportunities in new and existing markets. By divesting a small part of my shares in Kambi Group, I have affected an elemental reallocation within my overall portfolio of investments. I remain committed as a long-term major shareholder and intend to continue to support Kambi Group through my representation on its board of directors.” Established exponent: Strom established Unibet from his London home in 1997 and subsequently led the firm, which rebranded as Kambi Group in 2016, as it became one of the planet’s largest business-to-business sportsbetting service providers and consumer-facing iGaming operators. Despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, the company recently saw its aggregated revenues for 2020 rise by 28% year-on-year to $142.63 million as its annual profit surged by 131.7% to $29.21 million. Football failing: Despite all of this success and Legal Sports Report nevertheless reported that Kambi Group felt the wrath of several partner operators last Sunday after its turnkey sportsbetting platform was forced to suspend pre-game betting on Super Bowl LV for a full 30 minutes. The source disclosed that this outage was caused by a failure in geolocation compliance technology supplied by an outside vendor and had impacted the American-facing online sportsbook from Penn National Gaming Incorporated, Rush Street Gaming and DraftKings Incorporated. Speedy solution: Kristian Nylen serves as Chief Executive Officer for Kambi Group and he reportedly pronounced that his firm was nevertheless able to permanently fix the offending problem ‘seven to eight minutes’ before the beginning of the gridiron contest from Florida and then went on to process the highest volumes in its history. Reportedly read a statement from Nylen… “The issue experienced prior to kick-off was related to one particular bet offer for which we increased the number of possible outcomes especially for the Super Bowl. This bet offer was the third most popular offer on the day and, due to the extended number of outcomes, required extra technical capacities as part of our bet validation process. Unfortunately, this additional capacity caused a backlog and slowed, and eventually stopped, the bet validation process for all bets.”

UFC 258 odds: Usman set to battle Burns
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Odds courtesy of OddsShark.comNow that the NFL season is officially finished, the UFC will help to fill the sports betting void on most weekends and there’s a terrific card at UFC 258 on Saturday night from the organization’s APEX facility in Las Vegas headlined by a welterweight title fight between champion Kamara Usman and Gilbert Burns. The main card begins at 10 p.m. ET on pay-per-view, meaning this bout should start around midnight. The 33-year-old Usman (17-1) was born in Nigeria but his family moved to the United States when he was eight years old and Usman now fights out of Florida. The UFC ranks him as the No. 5 pound-for-pound fighter but there are more than a few MMA fans who think Usman, a former collegiate wrestling All-American, should be No. 1.“The Nigerian Nightmare” lost his second professional fight to Jose Caceres in May 2013 by first-round submission in the Championship Fighting Alliance but hasn’t lost since. Usman won the welterweight belt at UFC 235 with a unanimous decision over Tyron Woodley, who was around a -215 betting favorite.Usman was priced in that range in his first title defense and beat Colby Covington by fifth-round TKO at UFC 259 in December 2019. Title defense No. 3 was supposed to be against Burns last July at UFC 251, but Burns withdrew about a week beforehand after testing positive for COVID-19. Burns was replaced by Jorge Masvidal and Usman beat him by unanimous decision even though Usman was fighting with a broken nose suffered in training. He was immediately placed on a six-month medical suspension after the bout.Five straight Usman bouts have gone to the fifth round and nine of his victories overall are by the judges, with seven by KO/TKO and one by submission. He is a -275 favorite Saturday. The 34-year-old Burns, from Brazil, is 19-3 and ranked as the No. 2 welterweight behind Covington. “Durinho” brings a six-fight winning streak into the Octagon. He was a +140 underdog last time out against Woodley in May but won by unanimous decision. This will be Burns’ first title shot. He wins the majority of the time by submission (42 percent) with two of three losses via decision. Burns is priced at +215.Also on the card is a middleweight bout between Kelvin Gastelum and Ian Heinisch, both Americans. Gastelum (16-6) fought for the interim middleweight belt against current champion Israel Adesanya at UFC 235 and lost by unanimous decision. The 29-year-old Gastelum, ranked No. 9 in the division, has lost two more fights since. The 32-year-old Heinisch (14-3) is ranked No. 15 and this will be his most accomplished opponent to date. Gastelum is -230 and Heinisch +180.

Tech issues due to demand see leading sports gambling sites crash during Super Bowl LV
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Prior to Sunday’s big game, the American Gaming Association (AGA) announced that according to new research, 23.2 million Americans planned to bet a staggering $4.3 billion on Super Bowl LV. And that a record 7.6 million of those Super Bowl bettors will place wagers with online sportsbooks in 2021, up 63 percent year-over-year. President and Chief Executive Officer for the AGA, Bill Miller said… “This year’s Super Bowl is expected to generate the largest single-event legal handle in American sports betting history. With a robust legal market, Americans are abandoning illegal bookies and taking their action into the regulated marketplace in record numbers.” Crash and burn: With that being said, no one could’ve predicted that the demand to bet on the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs, would see major sports gambling sites crash during the biggest game of the year but that’s exactly what happened. And instead of attracting new customers onto their platforms, technical issues and outages left some of the industry’s biggest sports betting firms including BetMGM, FanDuel, DraftKings, and Barstool Sports, scrambling to find solutions. According to CNBC, ten minutes prior to kickoff, MGM Resorts International‘s sportsbook platform, BetMGM, could not accept bets. Complaints by angry patrons flooded social media as technicians hurriedly worked to resolve the problem. However, at the end of the game, the issue had yet to be resolved, leaving bets unsettled by MGM. Customer ire: And while FanDuel ads reportedly encouraged customers to take advantage of “free play” offers leading up to the big game, the Flutter Entertainment-owned sports betting company also experienced outages, which, according to the operator were intermittent and due to demand exceeding expectations. However, according to FanDuel, at no time during the 3-plus hour game did its platform cease to operate. Apparently, the majority of the glitches were seen in Michigan, where online betting went live on Jan. 22, 2021, making it the tenth state where FanDuel offers mobile sports betting. Gamblers did not take kindly to the shut-down, with one clearly frustrated patron’s Twitter rant, “how is it that i’m seeing fanduel commercials on my television almost rubbing it in that i can’t even place a bet on your app that crashes any time there’s a reasonably large sporting event.” FanDuel’s explanation regarding the outages reportedly came as a surprise to both industry insiders and other gambling platform operators. CNBC reports that it was told by a leading executive… “We all expected this to be a record-breaking event for online and mobile gambling. We had tech meeting after tech meeting leading up to Sunday to make sure things ran smoothly.” Other outages: Similar issues were experienced by Penn National Gaming’s Barstool Sports and DraftKings, and while the former blamed third-party tech issues for its app going down and stopped short of directly calling out one of its partners, Kambi, the Massachusetts-based sports betting company apparently did just that. “It appears this outage was caused by a surge in traffic that caused problems for our backend provider. Our DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) and pools products, supported by in-house technology, are functioning without issue. This incident is why we believe owning our own technology is important, said DraftKings in a statement. Soon after completing its reverse merger with special-purpose acquisition company Diamond Eagle Acquisition Corp. last April, DraftKings announced that it would be terminating its partnership with the global sports gambling provider no earlier than September 2021. The announcement came about a year after the two firms signed a contract extension; the same one that Chief Executive Officer for DraftKings, Jason Robbins, said, “Kambi has been a key partner for DraftKings.” Bet volumes: Kambi reportedly told CNBC that it processed three times the bet volumes as it did for last year’s Superbowl, making this year’s the highest in its history. It [Kambi] added that overall load wasn’t the problem, rather “one specific player-related bet offer and its increased range of outcomes offered,” resulting in a backlog validating other wagers and subsequent, problematic performance. Players who were assumed to have been affected by the outages were reportedly issued $20 credits by DraftKings, while its rival Fanduel said that in spite of the issues, it paid out $27 million to customers, with $17 million of that going to new players. Smooth sailing: While some sports betting platforms were overwhelmed by surging demand, others including PointsBet and William Hill reportedly said their operations during the Super Bowl were not affected by technical issues. Chief Executive Officer for PointsBet, Johnny Aitken said, “It helps being in sole control of your technology,” while Union Gaming analyst John DeCree offered… “The stress on the platforms is an indication of how big the potential is for sports gambling. I don’t think one incident on the biggest night of the year is going to dissuade these players permanently.” Ratings fail: Broadcast on CBS, Sunday’s game reportedly produced the worst viewer ratings since Super Bowl XLI in 2007, when the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chicago Bears. Citing a Tuesday announcement by ViacomCBS, CNBC reports that this year’s big game failed to top 100 million viewers, instead attracting 96.4 million viewers for the television broadcasting company. Since last year’s Super Bowl, which had a decidedly different outcome for the Mahomes-led Chiefs, 36 million more American adults are now able to bet in legal markets from their home state, with seven new jurisdictions including Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Montana, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington, DC, having joined the fray, according to the AGA.

Super Bowl LV crowns a champ after lopsided game
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Super Bowl LV is now in the books and, with it, a number of firsts. The Big Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offered an amazing matchup that had football fans and gamblers pacing with anticipation, but definitely did not go the way most people expected. With the NFL season having survived COVID-19, it’s now time to look ahead and try to get ready for a new era of football that will see much greater sports gambling. The Chiefs were viewed as the favorites to win, but were only given three points by oddsmakers. That should have indicated a tight competition and a battle between two of the best quarterbacks in the league, Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady. However, what looks good on paper doesn’t always work when put into play, and Brady and the Bucs had no problem rolling over Mahomes and the Chiefs, completely controlling the game on both offense and defense. The Chiefs only managed to score a field goal in each of the first three quarters as Mahomes was repeatedly forced out of the pocket and made to scramble. However, he showed why he deserved to be in the Super Bowl, handling the pressure like a long-time veteran. Despite continued problems, Mahomes still managed to put up more passing yards than Brady, throwing for 243 yards against his rival’s 201.It wasn’t good enough, though. The Bucs, the first team to ever play in a Super Bowl in its own stadium, dominated from start to finish. Brady became the first quarterback to pick up seven Super Bowl titles and the first to win a fifth MVP award (the only player with five) as he led his Bucs to their first Super Bowl win since the 2002 season. It was also the first Super Bowl in which the NFL had seen the presence of a female referee, with Sarah Thomas on the field as the down judge. In a couple more firsts for the NFL, Maral Javadifar and Lori Locust became the first female coaches to win a Super Bowl title – Javadifar as the Bucs’ assistant strength and conditioning coach and Locust is the team’s defensive line assistant. A peculiar stat presented prior to the game showed that Brady has a history of not stepping up in the first quarter of Super Bowls. He brought that to an end yesterday as he marched down the field to give the Bucs a first-quarter touchdown (his first first-quarter Super Bowl TD) in response to a Chiefs field goal. From there, the Bucs were on a mission and nothing could stand in the way. Rob Gronkowski and Leonard Fournette were favorite targets for Brady as they worked their magic, rolling over defenders and punching through lines every chance they got. The Bucs would go on to put up 14 points in the second quarter, countered by only a field goal, and another ten in the third quarter, with just another Chiefs field goal in response. By this point, the Chiefs had been beaten into submission, down 31-9, and the only thing they could do was hang on until the clock ran out. Both teams seemed to understand that the game was pretty much over, and neither put any points on the board in the last quarter. The underdog Bucs had defied the odds and won the Super Bowl, keeping the Chiefs from claiming their second consecutive victory. It was a sweet victory for Brady and Tampa Bay and a sign that, maybe, Bill Belichick was a little too premature in letting the GOAT leave the New England Patriots last year. Sports gamblers appreciate the decision, though, with a few who risked big money on the Bucs taking home nice paydays. According to what sportsbooks have reported, more than 80% of the money went to the Chiefs, but several gamblers put up big money on the Bucs. One was the all-too-famous Mattress Mack, the Texas entrepreneur known for making huge bets. He has lost several million dollars on sports bets over the past couple of years, but found some redemption yesterday. Mattress Mack, whose real name is Jim McIngvale, put up $3.46 million on the Bucs to cover the spread and, after a lopsided game that clearly favored Tampa Bay, recuperated his investment and padded it by another $2.72 million.

Plethora of unique Super Bowl LV proposition wagers highlighted
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Millions of gridiron football fans around the world will undoubtedly be tuning in tomorrow night to watch all of the action as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers go up against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. Although most online sportsbooks are offering a plethora of markets on almost every aspect of this National Football League (NFL) championship contest, some others are reportedly opting for more unique routes with proposition wagers on markets as wacky as the length of the pre-game national anthem alongside an over/under on how many television advertisements broadcast during the match will feature a dog. Sweatband suggestion: These were just two of the 17 more unique proposition bets highlighted by the news domain at Insider.com on Wednesday as American football fans prepare to watch the ‘Chiefs’ and the ‘Bucs’ battle it out at the latter’s Raymond James Stadium. Other less traditional wagers purportedly involve whether anthem singer Eric Church will be wearing a leather jacket, the color of the headband being sported by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes (pictured) and if the broadcast will have any commercials for a Star Wars film. Anthem abilities: The singing of the national anthem seems to be a popular focus as the source also reportedly found sites offering odds on who will sing the last note of the tune penned by Francis Scott Key and whether any of the scoring drives from Sunday night will take less time to complete. There are purportedly also even more bizarre bets on which coach’s nostrils will be the first to feature in the broadcast, will the spread or total of the game be mentioned and how many times NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will be shown. Half-time histrionics: American broadcasts of Super Bowl LV are reportedly due to be fronted by NFL analysts Jim Nantz and Tony Romo with sportsbetting aficionados reportedly furthermore able to find odds on whether this latter expert will correctly predict one of the game’s offensive plays. Markets on what color liquid will be poured on the winning coach and what is to be the first song performed by half-time entertainer The Weeknd are likewise purportedly available as are bets on the shade of the Canadian singer’s jacket and whether he will be sporting gloves or head bandages.

Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale Wagers $3.46 Million on Buccaneers to Cover Spread
By admin | | 0 Comments |

A Houston, Texas furniture store owner, Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, is well known for placing extremely large sports bets, and at the moment he has wagered the biggest bet on Super Bowl LV. According to sources McIngvale placed a $3.46 million bet on the underdog Tampa Bay Buccaneers covering a + 3.5 point spread on the big game this Sunday, February 7th, 2021 at 6:30 pm ET. Super Bowl LV will be played at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers home stadium in Raymond James Stadium located in Tampa, Florida. Upon flying into Colorado Springs, Colorado on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021 “Mattress Mack” logged in to his Draft Kings mobile betting app while in the airport in order to place this monumental bet. His wager is one of the largest ever on a Super Bowl. McIngvale paid a little extra in juice at – 127 in order to push the point spread on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to + 3.5 points. If the Bucs can cover the + 3.5 point spread in Super Bowl LV Jim will win $2.72 million! Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale’s Other Memorable Sports Bets McIngvale has been known to utilize the sports betting market in order to alleviate risk on major money making sales promotions he has running at his furniture store. For example, this year Jim initiated a sales promotion in which customers that spend $3,000 or in excess of that on a new mattress will get their money refunded if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeat the heavily favored Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. Back in 2019 McIngvale placed over $11 million in bets on the World Series that was played between the Washington Nationals and his beloved Houston Astros. Some of the $11 million plus that he had in play on the 2019 World Series could be attributed to a $3.5 million futures wager on the Houston Astros that he made in Biloxi, Mississippi also with his Draft Kings sports betting account. The Houston Astros ended up losing the World Series to the Washington Nationals in seven entertaining games. Current Betting Activity on Super Bowl LV        ESPN’s David Purdum said, “The two largest reported bets on the Super Bowl so far have both been on the Bucs. In addition to McIngvale’s $3.46 million wager, a bettor with BetMGM in Nevada placed a $2.3 million wager on Tampa Bay last week. Despite the two multimillion-dollar bets on the Bucs in this year’s Super Bowl, the bulk of the action has been on the favored Chiefs. As of Wednesday at William Hill U.S. sportsbooks, 82% of the money that had been bet on the Super Bowl point spread was on Kansas City.” Media Statements  “Tampa Bay is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and led by the greatest football player of all time in Tom Brady, so I’m betting big on the Bucs who have overcome tough matchups throughout this postseason,” Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale stated in a press release via DraftKings.  “Mack has been a great customer and is someone we have history with after taking his sizeable wager on the World Series a couple seasons ago,” the DraftKings’ sportsbook director Johnny Avello explained in a press release.

ตัวเลือกอันดับต้น ๆ ของ Westgate ชอบ Super Bowl LV
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Over / Under running Chiefs
